Bruno was born in 1984 and he is a Lisbon-based photojournalist and documentary photographer.

In 2006 he ended his studies in photography and photojournalism at the Portuguese Institute of Photography.

Since then, he has covered news and stories in countries such as South Africa, Tunisia, Brazil, Ukraine, Poland, Azerbaijan, the USA, and UAE, among others. His images have been published in several publications such as Der Spiegel, Die Zeit, Libération, NRC, National Geographic Serbia, National Geographic Czech Republic, and The Denver Post.
